Cartographer : Johann Baptist Homann (*1663 - † 1724) was a German cartographer, publisher and engraver. After Homanns death the enterprise was taken over by his son Johann Christoph Homann (*1703; † 1730).
Description : his is a large and very interesting, coloured copper engraving map by Homann Heirs. This map shows the Bosphorus with Istanbul. Size : 48.5 x 57.5 cm
